Bay Club runs clubs in California, Oregon, and Washington. I went through their clubs, amenities, and prices so you know what you're getting.
Bay Club locations cover the basics: cardio, free weights, and machines. Most of their clubs also have:
You'll find these at some clubs:
Bay Club doesn't offer tanning.

None of Bay Club's clubs are open 24/7. Hours vary by club, so check yours before you go.

Bay Club gets the basics right and adds a few extras.
Water and heat. More than half the clubs have a pool, and more than half the clubs have a sauna.
Courts. More than half the clubs have a basketball or pickleball court.
Group fitness classes run at nearly every club, so you don't have to plan every workout yourself.
Bay Club does plenty right. A few gaps are worth knowing before you sign.
Childcare is at fewer than half the clubs. If you need it, confirm your club has it before you join.
No club is open 24 hours, so late-night and very early lifters are out of luck on some days.

How much is a Bay Club membership?
Is Bay Club open 24 hours?
Does Bay Club have a pool?
Does Bay Club have childcare?
Does Bay Club have a sauna?
Does Bay Club have a cold plunge?
Does Bay Club have a basketball court?
Yes, if you want a pool, a sauna, and courts. More than half the clubs have a pool and a sauna. Single Site plans start around $119 a month plus initiation.
It fits you best if you swim, play basketball or pickleball, and like group classes. If you count on childcare or train late at night, Bay Club is a weaker pick, because fewer than half the clubs offer childcare and no club is open 24 hours. Google reviews average 4.1 stars across the chain, so read your club's reviews and take a tour first.
My take: Bay Club is worth a tour if you want a pool.
