Chuze Fitness runs clubs across several states. Most clubs have iChuze and Buddy Passes. I went through their clubs, amenities, and prices so you know what you're getting.
Chuze clubs cover the basics: cardio, free weights, and machines. Most of their clubs also have:
You'll find these at some clubs:
Chuze doesn't offer racquetball, tennis, or squash.
Cory Brightwell, Nick Barshick, their fathers, and Kris Peterson founded Chuze Fitness in 2008 (Athletech News). The first club opened in Carlsbad, California, in October 2008, and Brightwell is CEO (SDVoyager, Chuze Fitness).
None of Chuze's clubs are open 24/7. The most common schedule I found:
Hours vary by club, so check yours before you go.
The total amount of locations we're tracking from this fitness chain.
Room for activities! Average square footage of their gyms.
How much you can expect to pay for the entry-level membership every month
Chuze gets the basics right and adds a few extras.
Buddy Passes at most clubs.
Chuze Cinema and Express Circuit at more than half the clubs.
It works for parents. Most clubs have childcare, so you can train while the kids are looked after.
Chuze does plenty right. A few gaps are worth knowing before you sign.
Pools are rare. Only about a quarter of the clubs have one, so check before you join if you swim.
No club is open 24 hours, so late-night and very early lifters are out of luck on some days.
Amenities vary from club to club, so tour the one you'd use before you sign.
Chuze lists three plans at most clubs. In October 2026 I found:
Cardio, strength machines and free weights!
Warm up in the hot heat before your workout.
Yep, you can workout anytime of day here!
The perfect spot for bodyweight and functional training workouts.
Unwind in the super heated water in their hot tubs.
Relax and soothe in the super heated steam.
Ace your muscle recovery or simply enjoy the massage.
Experience a healthy golden glow anytime of the year.
Improve blood circulation and relieve pain with deep penetrating light.
No service? No problem. Free Wi-Fi for music or streaming.
Chuze fits members who need childcare and like group classes.
How much is a Chuze membership?
Is Chuze open 24 hours?
Does Chuze have a pool?
Does Chuze have childcare?
Does Chuze have a sauna?
Does Chuze have a cold plunge?
Yes, if you want a sauna and childcare. More than half the clubs have a sauna, and most clubs have childcare. Premium is $29.99 a month on a 12-month plan.
It fits you best if you need childcare and like group classes. If you swim or train late at night, Chuze is a weaker pick, because only about a quarter of the clubs have a pool and no club is open 24 hours. Google reviews average 4.3 stars across the chain, so read your club's reviews and take a tour first.
My take: Chuze is worth a tour if you want a sauna.
