Planet Fitness runs clubs across most of the U.S. Most clubs list Black Card at $24.99 a month. I went through their clubs, amenities, and prices so you know what you're getting.

Planet Fitness fits members who want low dues and a solid gym floor and want recovery built into their routine.
How much is a Planet Fitness membership?
Does Planet Fitness charge an annual fee?
Is Planet Fitness open 24 hours?
Does Planet Fitness have a pool?
Does Planet Fitness have childcare?
Does Planet Fitness have a sauna?
Does Planet Fitness have a cold plunge?
Yes, if you want low monthly dues and recovery perks like red light therapy. Classic is $15 a month, and Black Card is $24.99.
It fits you best if you want low dues and a solid gym floor and want recovery built into your routine. If you swim or count on childcare, Planet Fitness is a weaker pick, because no club has a pool and no club offers childcare. Read your club's reviews and take a tour first.
My take: Planet Fitness is worth a tour if you want low monthly dues.
