VASA Fitness Opens 50k-Square-Foot Club in Mount Prospect on September 19
The chain's 11th Illinois location brings a pool, recovery suite, and three group studios to the southwest corner of Dempster and Elmhurst Road.
VASA Fitness will open its Mount Prospect club on September 19 at 1490 S. Elmhurst Road, inside a shopping center anchored by Kohl's near Dempster Street. The facility spans 49,516 square feet, built by converting two smaller retail spaces into a single full-service gym. Grand opening hours run 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with tours, classes, door prizes, and free coffee and tea from Toms Traveling Coffee Truck on site.
VASA Fitness operates large-format clubs designed to offer a wide range of equipment and amenities at accessible price points. The brand has grown steadily across the Mountain West and Midwest, emphasizing value memberships alongside premium features often found only at higher-cost clubs.
