Crunch Fitness is a national gym chain known for affordable memberships and a wide equipment offering across cardio, strength, group fitness, and recovery. CR Fitness Holdings is one of its largest franchise groups, operating clubs across Florida, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, and now Arizona. The group is backed by investment firms North Castle Partners and Sixth Street and serves over one million members.

"We are proud to be launching our Crunch Arcadia location for the Phoenix community and providing them with a premium fitness option at an affordable price." - Tony Scrimale, CEO of CR Fitness Holdings.
Crunch Arcadia is built as a Crunch 3.0 location, the brand's current format. You'll find top-of-the-line cardio and strength equipment alongside:
The club will also offer 24-hour access five days a week in addition to its standard staffed hours.
Crunch Arcadia is Southwest Fitness Holdings' first Phoenix location and the opening move of an ambitious local expansion. The subsidiary plans 20 Crunch clubs across the Phoenix area by the end of 2027. The Arcadia address on E. Thomas Road places the club in an established central Phoenix corridor.
Standard memberships at Crunch Arcadia start at $9.99 a month. For the grand opening period, there's a promotional offer: pay $1 and get your first month free. You can claim that deal at CrunchArcadia.com. The club's phone number is 480.631.3985.

Crunch Arcadia is CR Fitness Holdings' 100th location, a milestone the group has been building toward since its first club, Sarasota Bee Ridge, opened in 2012. CR Fitness now operates across six states through three subsidiaries: CR Fitness Holdings LLC, Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, and Blue Ridge Fitness Holdings LLC. The group is targeting 110 locations by the end of 2026.
The Arcadia location is a brand-new $5 million, 36,500-square-foot facility, not a conversion or renovation. The opening is expected to create more than 70 local jobs spanning personal training, group fitness, sales, operations, member services, and club leadership. CR Fitness is led by industry veterans Vince Julien, Tony Scrimale, Jeff Dotson, and Geoff Dyer, who the company says carry a combined 150-plus years of industry experience.
The November 7 grand opening celebration runs from 10am to 1pm and includes group fitness demos, personal training specials, food, local vendors, and over $25,000 in prize giveaways. Actor and bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno will be on-site for a limited-edition signed photograph session from 11am to noon. For anyone curious about the club, that Saturday is a reasonable time to see it in person.
