Crunch Fitness Is Coming to Rayzor Ranch in Denton, Texas

Crunch Fitness has announced a new location in the Rayzor Ranch neighborhood of North Denton, near the interchange of I-35 and State Highway 380. The gym will occupy 3320 Heritage Trail and is a ground-up, two-story build with a mezzanine. Presale is already open; no specific opening date has been announced.

Crunch Fitness is one of the largest gym chains in the United States, operating on a franchise model across dozens of states. The brand offers tiered memberships and positions itself as a value option with a broad amenity set, including group fitness studios, personal training, and recovery offerings like HydroMassage. The Denton location will be the first to introduce Crunch's updated 3.0 design concept.

The Rayzor Ranch location is built to a scale you'll notice the moment you walk in. Across two floors, you'll find expanded strength and functional areas, Olympic lifting platforms, a group fitness studio, a Hot Studio, Ride cycling, TRX, and a HIITZone with indoor turf. There's also a stretching zone with turf, an Abs and Glutes area, a Relax and Recover section with HydroMassage and tanning, and full locker rooms with showers and a dry sauna. The power half-hour circuit rounds out the cardio offering.

CR Fitness Holdings chose the Rayzor Ranch neighborhood on the north side of Denton as part of their ongoing Texas expansion. The site sits at the junction of I-35 and State Highway 380, a high-traffic commercial corridor in one of the fastest-growing areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Membership pricing has not been published yet. Crunch typically releases dues details closer to opening.

The Denton gym is operated by Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness Holdings, which currently runs 15 Crunch locations across Dallas-Fort Worth. The company is on track to have nearly 20 Crunch gyms in Texas by the end of 2026, with five additional locations coming in Arizona as part of a planned 110-location portfolio.

The Rayzor Ranch gym represents a $12 million investment and covers 37,038 square feet across two stories plus a mezzanine. It is a ground-up construction project and marks the debut of Crunch's new 3.0 design format. The press release was issued on November 2, 2026.

North Denton is gaining a large-format gym with a broader amenity set than most of its current options. Olympic lifting platforms, dedicated cycling and HIIT studios, and recovery amenities under one roof make this worth attention if you train in that part of town.
