VASA Fitness is adding reformer Pilates to its studio lineup, with the Willow Creek, Colorado club hosting the first class on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The format joins three existing studio options already available at select VASA locations: Studio Red HIIT, Studio LFT strength training, and Studio Flow infrared yoga. The Centennial Arapahoe club, scheduled to open in late October, will carry Studio Pilates from its first day.
Founded in 2014 in Orem, Utah, VASA Fitness has grown to more than 70 locations across nearly ten states in the Midwest and Mountain regions, placing it among the 20 largest health club operators in the country. Its model combines large workout floors with recovery amenities, personal training, and boutique-style studio classes, all under a single membership. The brand positions itself as a high-value, low-price operator, competing on breadth of offerings rather than on premium pricing.
"VASA is the only large-scale HVLP gym offering four distinct studio experiences under one roof—HIIT, strength training, yoga and now reformer Pilates. That's an incredible value for our members: they get all four studios plus the entire gym—cardio, weights, premium recovery and more—for a fraction of what it costs to do just one class at a boutique studio." — Michael Osanloo, Chief Executive Officer, VASA Fitness
Each Studio Pilates session accommodates up to 14 members and is led by a dedicated instructor, keeping the format closer to a boutique class than a standard gym group fitness slot. VASA developed its own Pilates programming, built around controlled, precise movements on the reformer with adjustable resistance. The goals the curriculum targets include:
Because the format is low-impact, it fits alongside higher-intensity training days rather than competing with them.
Reformer Pilates has moved well outside its traditional niche over the past several years, with boutique studios charging $30 to $40 or more per class in most markets. VASA is betting that members who already pay for a gym membership would take classes more often if the cost barrier were removed. Adding Pilates to its studio roster also gives the chain a stronger answer to boutique operators, who offer one modality at a much higher price point.
Studio Pilates is available as part of VASA's Studio membership tier, which starts at $44.99 per month. That price covers all four studio formats as well as the main gym floor, recovery amenities, and cardio and weight areas. After the Willow Creek debut and the Centennial Arapahoe opening in late October 2026, VASA plans to roll Studio Pilates out to additional clubs in 2027. The company has not named the next markets publicly, but the press release describes the expansion as part of a broader effort to scale the Studio experience across its full footprint.
For members at the Willow Creek location, Studio Pilates is available starting this weekend with no additional membership upgrade required beyond the Studio tier. The Centennial Arapahoe club will be the second location to carry the format when it opens in late October, giving Colorado members two options within a short drive of the Denver metro area. Members at other VASA clubs will need to wait for the 2027 rollout.
