At Gymstracker, we believe gyms are more than equipment and square footage — they are built by passionate leaders who care deeply about the communities they serve.
One of those leaders is Caleb Eagans, an emerging voice in the health and fitness industry now making an impact at Fitness Connection in Garland, Texas, within the competitive Dallas–Fort Worth fitness market.
But Caleb’s journey started somewhere very different.
Originally from Jewett, Texas, a small East Texas town with a population of just 800 people, Caleb learned early the value of discipline, hard work, and resilience.
Those traits carried him to Texas A&M University, where he competed as both a football and track athlete while pursuing an ambitious academic path.
He graduated Cum Laude, earning a degree in Health & Kinesiology and Business Administration.
During this time, Caleb also faced one of the most difficult moments of his life — the loss of his mother to pancreatic cancer.
Instead of derailing his path, the experience strengthened his commitment to leadership, perseverance, and helping others improve their lives through fitness.

Many fitness leaders build their careers through experience.
Caleb did that — but he also built an unusually strong academic foundation.
After Texas A&M, he continued his education and earned three master’s degrees:
The combination of athletic experience, academic achievement, and leadership training gave him a unique perspective on building teams and developing people.
Caleb’s athletic abilities continued to draw attention even after college.
Despite battling significant injuries, he received interest from several NFL organizations, including:
While his career ultimately shifted toward leadership in the fitness industry, the discipline and competitive mindset of elite athletics still shapes how he leads today.
Today, Caleb is helping lead operations at Fitness Connection USA, headquartered in Texas.
Within the DFW market, he has built a reputation for developing teams and driving growth across multiple fitness locations.
His leadership style focuses on two things:
Because successful gyms, he believes, are about far more than workouts.
They’re about helping people transform their lives.
Across the country, gyms are evolving from simple workout spaces into community hubs that support mental health, resilience, and personal growth.
Leaders like Caleb Eagans are helping shape that future.
And at Gymstracker, we believe those stories deserve to be told.
Because behind every great gym…
There’s a leader helping people become the best version of themselves.

At Fitness Connection Garland, Caleb says what makes the club special isn’t just the equipment — it’s the people.
“The club in Garland has its own unique personality,” he explains. “There’s a real community feel here where everyone knows everyone.”
Even though members technically have access to multiple locations within the Fitness Connection network, many choose to work out exclusively at the Garland club.
“It’s the only place they want to be,” Caleb says. “Many of our members live here in Garland, and this gym feels like home to them.”
The club itself also offers several standout features, including the chain’s only Fit Flix Movie Theater, multiple functional training zones, and a turfed track for performance training. The layout includes a wide variety of machines and quieter workout areas throughout the gym, giving members the flexibility to train the way they prefer.
But perhaps the most telling sign of the culture is something simpler.
“Members pick up after each other and help keep the facility clean,” Caleb says. “People really take pride in this gym.”
