Amped Fitness was founded in 2016 by a group of fitness enthusiasts who aimed to create a gym environment that was both inclusive and motivating. They saw a gap in the market for affordable, high-quality fitness facilities that offered a community-driven atmosphere. Their mission was to make fitness accessible to everyone, regardless of their fitness level or experience.

How much you can expect to pay for the entry-level membership every month
There's a bunch to love about Amped. While they may not have every amenity out there, they're focused on providing experiences tailored for Gen-Z. You'll get an electric atmosphere, newer gyms, and Instagram worthy workouts here.

Parents, they didn't forget about you here at Amped. As of February 2025, we see all of their 29 locations feature childcare. This is a great benefit to have your kids play during your workout—win win!
Amped Fitness will check the boxes for a large majority of gym-goers, but a few things stand out as amenities they don't offer.
No aqua amenities like pools or steam rooms here. Nor are there any hot tubs or cold plunges. It may not be a focus for them, but at the very least, we think they'd be welcome additions to their Signature location.
We've said it before: their expansion needs to go further West—personally hopeful for one in the Bay Area. But this may come over time, and we expect their current 29 gyms to grow considerably.
They need clearer descriptions of what each exact location offers. Our hunch is that several gyms have Wi-Fi or Functional Turf areas, but it's not clearly mentioned on their individual gym pages.
We see memberships that start at just $14.99. (Sometimes down to $9.99 during promotional periods). That'll get you the "Basic" membership package:

This is in-line with other HVLP (High-Value-Low-Price) gym chains, with a tiered amenities system. Its pretty competitive pricing, and a great choose-as-you-go option. Many may opt for the "Basic" $14.99, adding on group fitness, multi-club access, and recovery options at later times.
Childcare (at the Altamonte Springs location) is $15 per month, per child, with a two-hour time limit per day. This is an amazing deal! If you were to bring your little one twice a week for the month, that's less than $2 per session. We've seen this priced at $10-15 per session at other gym chains.
