There is a brand new Gold's Gym coming to Silver Spring, Maryland! Here's what we know so far:

Early 2024 opening
25,000 square foot space, a mid-sized sweet spot.
Was originally a Washington Sports Club location (that closed down in 2020).
Introduction pricing is as low as $19.99 bi-weekly (essentially $39.99 a month). That'll get you in the door to the new club, plus access to other Virginia and Maryland locations. You'll also get unlimited group classes with this membership type.

Gold's Gym in Silver Spring, Maryland, offers an accessible option for fitness enthusiasts in the area. While it doesn’t operate 24 hours, the gym opens its doors early at 5:00 AM on weekdays and has convenient hours throughout the weekend. What we found on their pre-sale website included an infrared sauna, turf area, and Olympic lifting area . You'll also find standard pieces like weights and dumbbells.

This isn't a gigantic gym, but it's a very comfortable mid-sized location that has a good amount of amenities.

A solid amount of options aren't available though: pool, basketball, childcare or tanning.

We haven't yet figured out the opening hours, and whether or not the location has massage options.
