Ready to turn up the heat? Like others, you've discovered the immense benefits of a sauna. You love the hot hot heat, and the way it draw toxins and impurities from your skin. We are on the same vibe my friend: that fresh out of the sauna' feeling is purely addictive!
Here at gymscompared.com, people are always asking us if a certain gym has a sauna. And we can clearly see why it makes sense: Folks are either warming up muscles before their workouts, or relaxing sore ones once their session is complete. Bottom line: the sauna is a key amenity to help achieve your fitness goals.
More and more gyms across the country have added a sauna (or two!) for their members—and we've done all the research for you.
You're in luck. Gold's Gym does have saunas, and by our count, at 51% of their locations. Of the 169 gyms we're tracking, 86 of them have a sauna. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see which one.
About half of Gold's Gym locations have a sauna.
Gold's Gym doesn't specify anything on their website, but we rounded up some general tips for wear:
Gold's Gym has both an "infrared" and "traditional" sauna. While there are other types, these are by far the two most popular at all of the national, large gym chains we cover. The difference between the two? Primarily how they distribute heat.
We're not quite sure on the exact temperature at this gym chain but we're looking into it. Do know that there will be variances between each location as well.
For most of the gym chains that we've examined:
Is one better than the other? Not necessarily. You'll need to try them both out to see what fits you best (and at least Gold's gives you that option)!
We're working to update the exact list of which ones are "infrared" or "traditional" — check back soon!
Sorry, we don't know that yet. Check back here or join our mailing list for our latest updates.
Yep, sure is. Well, it's included in your monthly membership fee. Whether you're Single Club or Platinum Gold Club, access to the sauna is the same.
So, Gold's Gym indeed has saunas, but only at certain locations. Just over half of their 169 locations—92—have this amazing amenity. We know that they have both types (infrared and traditional), and offer this amenity along with their world-famous standard fitness offerings.
