This brand new UFC GYM is opening on Saturday November 15!

Chicago, we can't wait to see this new location from UFC Gym. Construction and build-out is currently ongoing as of October 2025. This gym is a welcome addition to Morgan Park, as the previous Esporta/LA Fitness abruptly closed in April 2024. Stay tuned for more details!

This location will feature a sauna, HydroMassage chairs, tanning, red light therapy and cryotherapy. Recovery services are plentiful here: strenuous workouts get rewarded with serious rehab options.

We like that they offer cycling classes and cardio equipment, so if you're into heart-pumping workouts, you'll feel right at home. Weight training is also well taken care of with dumbbells and an Olympic platform for those heavy squats and deadlifts. Plus, if you want some extra guidance, there are personal trainers available to help you reach your fitness objectives. And hey, the gym even has Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected while you maximize those gains. For functional training enthusiasts, there’s a turf area perfect for box jumps and sled workouts.

Aqua Services Explained

There are no extensive aquatic or spa facilities here—no sauna, steam room, or pool. However, they do have showers and locker rooms, so you can freshen up after your workout without the hassle. Very cool! Although I love a good sauna, having functional amenities is what really counts when it comes to focusing on your workout.

Group Fitness Activities

While you won't find racquetball or basketball courts at this location, UFC GYM excels in group fitness activities. The lineup includes everything from Yoga and Zumba to Kickboxing and HIIT. This is a fantastic way to connect with like-minded fitness junkies. I love the community vibe that comes with group training classes, making workouts not just about physical fitness but also about social engagement.

For those recovery days, there’s a sense of relaxation with massage chairs available if you want to unwind after a tough session. Unfortunately, there’s no towel service, smoothie bar, or dedicated wellness treatments like cryotherapy. Yet, the retail area is a nice touch for all your fitness gear and apparel needs. And for those wondering, there’s no women-only workout area, but the environment is inclusive for everyone.
